Would you like to become a member of STAEDTLER Try-it tribe, our new exclusive group of talented family crafters?

We’re busily recruiting members from our fantastic band of Facebook followers through a series of fun weekly competitions. Each week, we’ll select a winner who will become a Try-it tribe member.

What’s in it for you?

As a member you will receive a welcome pack containing loads of STAEDTLER goodies and regular products to review throughout the year. You will also be asked for comments and views for Facebook posts as well as getting involved with in #MonthlyMake competitions and ad hoc challenges.

What’s in it for us?

The huge benefit to us is that we receive welcome feedback on our product range from the people who really matter – you! We also hope to encourage parents to get crafty with their kids along the way.

To get started, we already have two very creative bloggers on board: Clare whose blog is Emmysmummy ( and Jenny who writes The Gingerbread House (

Each week over the summer, we will release one themed challenge inviting everyone to submit their creations within the week. We’ll then select a winner and launch the next theme. To inspire you, we’ll include an example for each challenge made by either Clare, Jenny or STAEDTLER.

Good luck everyone!

  1. I have always loved STAEDTLER products I have been using them for years and I always buy my teenage nieces your products as they are both super into art and are obsessed with everything STAEDTLER they can’t get enough of them!!!

  2. Making things is so much better than anything else. We bake a lot…. but making airplanes with wooden clothes pegs and lolly sticks is very high in the list of things we love. Painted all different colours then ‘flown’ (which they do very badly). But…. getting creative is so important with children.

  3. Crafting with kids is good for you ! So good. Our favourite thing is wooden clothes pegs and lolly sticks into airplanes. Painted and flown, even though they don’t fly well ! Kids have imagination and take such pride in what they do! Harvest that and their interest lasts forever.

  4. My boys love reusing stuff to make and play I’m forever getting pens that don’t last or paints that don’t make my sons skin turn the same shade for days 😉
