10 Books To Read Before You Are 10

Today is World Literacy Day and this has sparked a heated debate in the office about the top ‘must reads’ for children. After much discussion, we have compiled the following list of 10 books we believe all children should read before they are 10:

  1. The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle

2. Hairy Maclary From Donaldson’s Dairy by Lynley Dodd

3. The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson

4. Where The Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak

5. Winnie-The-Pooh by A. A. Milne

6. The Cat In The Hat by Dr Seuss

7. Charlie & The Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl

8. Alice In Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

9. Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney

10. Harry Potter & The Philosopher’s Stone by JK Rowling

How did we do? Comment below if there are any you think we missed!
